CUPは、単なるダンスバトルではない。参加者はドリンクの入ったカップを手に持ち、できるだけこぼさずに踊るという独自のルールのもと、即興でフロアを構築していく。制約はある。しかし、その制約をどう遊び、自分のスタイルへと変えるかが問われる。勝敗を決めるのは技術だけではない。「誰がその場の空気を変えたのか。」それがMNC Quest、Nas。最初の衝撃はBeyoncéだったという。Trapはあまり聴かない。「みんながやばいって言ってても、あんまり分かんない（笑）。」自分の感覚に正直だ。そして、彼女は古着をこよなく愛する。実家には服の倉庫があるほどで、海外遠征のたびにヴィンテージを掘りに行く。アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、韓国、中国。特にドイツの街並みには強いインスピレーションを感じるという。ダンス、音楽、ファッション。すべては彼女の身体の中でつながっている。「自分のダンスが誰かのきっかけになれたら嬉しい。人生、楽しみましょう。」MNC At her family home, an entire storage space is devoted to clothes, and every overseas trip—America, Europe, Korea, China—turns into an opportunity to dig for vintage pieces. Germany’s cityscapes leave a particularly strong impression. Dance, music, and fashion connect inside the body. “I hope my dancing can be a trigger for someone. If it makes someone want to dance, or love music more, that would make me happy. Let’s enjoy life.” MNC CUP is not simply about winning or losing. It records something else entirely.
